I dream of side dishes

Bulgur tastes kind of like wild rice, and is easier to cook (just soak in boiling water for half an hour – I can do that). And therefore, even though it is usually used in pilafs and salads, I wonder if it would make a good stuffing base. Anyone with a decent wild rice stuffing recipe, please feel free to speak up now.

The mini-quiche cups came out reasonably well, as did the garlic soup, which was fortunate for lunch. Next time I will fortify them with tinned tomatoes, which are the same thing as canned tomatoes and yet for some reason sound less appetizing. But I do like the word “tin.”
