Made a green tea ice cream/fro-yo hybrid over the weekend, using matcha and some sencha that I ground to powder in the coffee grinder. You can definitely taste the bitterness of the yogurt through the tea, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The bitterness was not apparent in the chocolate-tangerine and chocolate-mint versions, probably because chocolate is kind of bitter and strongly flavored to begin with. Not surprisingly, the chocolate and coffee variations have been the biggest hits so far.
